We have an opportunity available for a Part Time Carer Support Worker to join the team at Bolton Mental Health Carers Support based in Royal Bolton Hospital, Farnworth BL4 0JR.
The successful candidate will conduct home visits and provide community support across Bolton. Therefore you must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport. There will also be opportunities to work from home.

In the role of Carer Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and information to carers. The role will include providing emotional support, tailored advice, information, facilitating peer support groups and activities for carers.
You will assess the individual needs of carers using strength based approaches and coproduce support plans to help meet needs, promoting access to statutory carer’s assessments.

On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
