Responsibilities
* Provide a comprehensive clerical and administrative support service.
* Communicate and exchange complex, sensitive information across the organisation both internally and externally, utilising positive interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
* Provide a range of clerical and administrative service as directed, including receipting and processing invoices and database management.
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge (Essential)
* NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
* Experience of using computer-based management information systems
* Experience and an ability to prepare detailed reports
* Experience of using computer software programmes
Qualifications and Knowledge (Desirable)
* Experience of working in an environment where both tact and diplomacy has had to be used
* Knowledge of the structure and operation of the Health Board
Experience (Essential)
* Advanced Keyboard Skills equivalent to RSA 2/3
* Excellent communicator at all levels within and outside an organisation including an ability to communicate effectively with patients and members of the public both written and verbally
Skills and Attributes (Essential)
* Identify, prioritise and work to short deadlines
* Work without supervision to achieve the objectives of the post
* Design and layout reports, forms and other documents to high quality and appropriate format
* Take accurate minutes
* Collate and undertake a basic analysis of data
* Prepare information for meeting and seminars
* Communicate clearly and succinctly, both orally and written
