Band & Salary: Band 5, fixed starting salary £26,500 with an increase of £2,500 after completing level 2 competencies.
Sponsorship: Network Rail is not eligible to sponsor under the Skilled Worker route.
About the role
As an Advanced Timetable Analyst, you will work on complex timetable analysis, modelling data, and providing evidence to inform system operator decisions and strategy over 30 + years. You will contribute to investment decisions, capacity assessments, and improvement initiatives, ensuring our operations remain efficient and safe.
Responsibilities
• Analyze timetable changes and operational data to support capacity planning and investment decisions.
• Model and evaluate the impact of potential schemes, presenting results and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Engage with System Operator teams, customers, and collaborators to understand constraints and incorporate feedback.
• Identify and support business, cultural, and process improvements within the timetable analysis function.
Essential Criteria
* Strong analytical skills demonstrated through past experience or education.
* Experience working with multiple sources of information.
* Proven ability to engage with customers and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
* Proven experience delivering to agreed timelines and standards.
* Experience identifying and supporting business, cultural or process improvements.
