About The Role
We have an exciting new role for a National and Strategic Account Manager, who will professionally represent Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland working nationally with the primary aim of winning and developing revenue streams from National and Strategic customers operating within the Non Mechanical and Shoring sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify opportunities for product innovation, sustainability, and safety advances aligning with National & Strategic customer requirements.
2. Work with the Sales team and product specialists to ensure a collaborative approach to the sales process, considering sector-specific requirements.
3. Support in delivering against agreed account plans that maximize Sunbelt Rentals revenue across all preferred supply opportunities covered in our Agreement.
4. Develop long-term business relationships by networking with key decision-makers at various levels and functions across the customer’s business to maximize revenue and market share.
5. Facilitate effective business relationships between Sunbelt Rentals staff and key client staff across all levels, strengthening existing business and creating opportunities for growth.
6. Partner with the client to identify initiatives and processes that add value, improve efficiency, and reduce costs for both parties.
7. Maximize Sunbelt Rentals' share of the client’s business and identify opportunities for profitable revenue growth across all income streams.
8. Support tender processes to maximize Sunbelt Rentals’ chances of securing new business.

* Experience within the Non Mechanical and Shoring sector.
* A proven track record in developing SLAs and delivering excellent customer service.
* Successful experience in managing and improving account portfolios.
* Strong influencing, negotiation, and networking skills.
* Sales management experience, including team development.
* Bid and tender writing skills for large opportunities.
* A strategic mindset balancing daily activities with long-term goals.
* An innovative approach to exploiting business opportunities quickly.
* High personal drive and motivation to meet challenging targets.
