What you will do
* Serve as the case responsible person and allocated social worker for children in care proceedings and children who require long-term care.
* Undertake direct work with children in care, ensuring their lived experiences, wishes, and feelings are understood and included.
* Conduct life story work and produce life story books to help children understand their backgrounds.
* Develop, review, and amend care plans to cater to each child's unique needs.
* Write detailed reports for Children in Care reviews and Court as part of care proceedings.
* Collaborate with the child's carers, parents, family network, and other professionals involved in care planning, such as the child's Independent Reviewing Officer, Guardian, Health and Education partners.
* Travel to various locations, including rural areas, to visit children in placements; therefore, a valid driving licence is essential.
