Short Intro and About the Job
As a Finance Graduate at our Liverpool Supply Point, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial performance and operational efficiency of a site with assets valued at approximately £75 million. Your primary mission will be to lead the digitalisation of the asset tagging process, ensuring full compliance and accuracy in asset management. You will also contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives, including digitalising management reporting and developing tools to track key business drivers.
Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results
1. Deliver a fully operational asset tagging process, including:
2. Maintenance of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
3. Development of digital tool to support the process
4. Cleansing and reconciling the fixed asset register
5. Physical tagging and verification of all site assets
6. Support finance transformation projects:
7. Assist in digitalising management reporting
8. Contribute to the development of business driver tools
9. Provide support during annual budget cycles
10. Contribute to month-end processes, including:
11. Preparation of management accounts
12. Variance analysis
13. Working capital and balance sheet reporting
Stakeholders
You will work closely with:
14. Internal: Finance team, Engineering team, Department Heads, Internal Control team, Site Management
15. External: Potential collaboration with external auditors or consultants during compliance checks
About You

Critical experience required
22. Graduate-level education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
23. Exposure to project work or internships in a finance or operations environment is advantageous
24. Experience working with data, reporting tools, or digital platforms is a plus
