Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm 6:00am
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Machine Operator to join a busy and fast-paced production environment in Banbury. This is a full-time temporary position offering consistent night shifts and the opportunity to develop your skills within a well-established manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, supporting production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating machinery in line with training and health & safety procedures.
* Assisting with general production and manufacturing duties.
* Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
* Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
* Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults or issues.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
* Supporting other departments and team members where required.
* Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
* Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred.
* Machine operating experience would be advantageous.
* FLT (Forklift Truck) experience or licence would be beneficial.
* Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working permanent night shifts.
* Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
