Job Title: Market Access Specialist (UK – Home-Based)

As a Market Access Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing value-based strategies from a health economics and market access perspective. This position is integral to the company’s growth ambitions across the UK market in the short and medium term.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Execution: Support the General Manager and National Sales Manager in implementing both upstream (payers/HTAs) and downstream (customer-facing) strategies.
* Value Strategy Development: Contribute to the creation and rollout of value-driven economic and reimbursement initiatives and supporting tools.
* Payer Insights & Analytics: Deliver data-driven analyses to inform account-level interactions and align with broader commercial strategies.
* Drug Tariff Management: Oversee the accurate listing of products within the Drug Tariff and manage related administrative processes.
* ICB Collaboration: Engage with Integrated Care Boards to ensure strategic alignment with funding models and healthcare delivery priorities.
* Research & Deliverables: Provide comprehensive research support for customer initiatives, including education on reimbursement, dossier creation, and economic modelling.
* Internal Capability Building: Train and educate internal teams on key market access topics such as NHS funding systems and economic evaluations.
* Market Surveillance: Monitor and analyse external developments—regulatory, customer, and competitor—to identify opportunities for protecting and enhancing product value.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including payers and thought leaders within the UK health system.
* Campaign Partnership: Work alongside marketing to develop innovative campaigns that strengthen the value proposition and drive business performance.
* Prior experience in market access within other European markets, particularly Germany, France, or Italy.
Qualifications:
* Education: Degree in Science, Medicine, Economics, or Engineering preferred. Further education or training in health economics, HTA, or value-based healthcare procurement is advantageous.
* Experience: Background in pricing, reimbursement, and health technology assessment is valuable. Familiarity with Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) data or hospital coding is a plus.
