My client in the Salford area require an experienced Mechanical Fitter.
This role mixes workshop work with on-site installation and commissioning, including travel.
Duties of the Role
* Mechanical assembly and build of general machinery
* Pneumatic panel and machine assembly
* Small fabrication tasks - welding, burning, drilling
* Machine testing and troubleshooting
* Installation and commissioning on-site
Experience Required
* Strong mechanical and pneumatic assembly skills
* Experience with transmission drives and structural assemblies
* Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge is a bonus
* Hands‑on attitude and attention to detail
* Previous experience in a workshop or industrial environment
