Job Advert – Pastry Sous Chef & Pastry CDP
Location: Liverpool
We at Chefs Bay are a specialist acting agency working on behalf of our client a prestigious stadium venue based in Liverpool who is currently seeking skilled pastry chefs to join their team on a temporary basis.
Positions Available:
* 1x Pastry Sous Chef – £20.17 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
* 2x Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP) – £16.81 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
These roles offer 4 to 6 shifts per week for the foreseeable future starting this Sunday 27th July (can be flexible slightly if needed). Due to the nature of the venue and client expectations, previous pastry experience is essential, and experience within a fine dining environment would be a significant advantage.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a pastry kitchen (essential)
* Fine dining or high-end catering background (desirable)
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, professional, and punctual

Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in a quality fine dining establishment · Knowledge of front of house, restaurant, bar, and cellar operations · Excellent communication and leadership skills · Strong customer service skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure · Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays · Knowledge of food and beverage trends, and the ability to make recommendations based on customer preferences
