Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment have been engaged to source a Management Accountant on a full time, staff basis. This role is based in Peterhead with hybrid working and flexibility around hours. This is an excellent role in a growing business where you will work closely with the Finance Director.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and assisting with the year end statutory accounts preparation. To apply, candidates must have previous management accounting experience, in addition to experience with standard costing ideally.
The Opportunity
* Prepare and report on monthly management accounts including explanations of variances compared to budgets and forecasts
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
* Assist with year end statutory accounts preparation
* Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
* Prepare weekly cashflow reporting
* Prepare weekly currency hedging report
* Cover other finance functions as required
Background and Experience
* Management accounting experience
* Standing costing experience (beneficial)
