For dual-qualified real estate solicitors looking to apply their cross-border expertise to some of the UK’s most significant energy and infrastructure projects, this is a rare and compelling opportunity. A leading UK law firm is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor (4–8 PQE+) to join its highly regarded Energy and Infrastructure team, based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
This role is particularly well suited to a solicitor qualified in England & Wales and Scotland, or an England & Wales qualified solicitor with experience working on projects in the Scottish market. Your dual qualification will allow you to play a key role on complex projects that span jurisdictions, advising clients on the property aspects of major developments across the UK.
The team is widely recognised for its work across the energy and infrastructure sector, advising developers, investors and funders on nationally significant projects. You will be involved in the development, financing, acquisition and disposal of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, working alongside colleagues in projects, finance and planning to deliver fully integrated advice.
The work is varied and at the forefront of the energy transition, covering technologies such as onshore and offshore wind, electricity transmission infrastructure, interconnectors, solar, battery storage, hydrogen and EV charging networks.
