1 Assist the lead designer in product creative conception, design and development, including fabric selection, style design, color matching and pattern design. Participate in the discussion and refinement of design proposals, and deliver initial and detailed design solutions that align with brand positioning and market demands.
2 Core Responsibility: Serve as the primary client liaison. Conduct regular on-site client meetings to communicate requirements, accurately capture client needs for wool sweater styles, craftsmanship, fabrics and fits. Document, organize and feedback key demands in a timely manner, assist the lead designer in optimizing design solutions to meet client expectations, and follow through on the full implementation of requirements.
3 Assist the lead designer in organizing and archiving design-related documents, including design drawings, technical sheets, fabric swatch cards and client requirement documents, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Support the team in the entire product development process from design, sampling to mass production.
4 Monitor prevailing trends in the wool knitting industry and competitor product developments, collect market research data and design materials to provide references for team design decisions, and assist the lead designer in quarterly product planning.
5 Actively participate in internal design training and skill development programs, continuously learn professional knowledge including wool sweater craftsmanship and fabric properties. Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the lead designer, gradually take independent responsibility for partial design and client liaison work, and develop toward a successor to the lead designer.
