Lead IT Support Technician

As they continue to grow, they’re now looking for a senior IT support specialist to help keep their expanding infrastructure running securely and efficiently.

Location: Hybrid / Remote (office based in Lincolnshire)
Package: £45,000 + benefits

What You’ll Be Doing
* Taking the lead within IT support operations, acting as the primary escalation point for advanced technical issues.
* Managing and prioritising support tickets to ensure fast and effective resolutions.
* Overseeing daily IT tasks — including server upkeep, patching, and endpoint management.
* Keeping technical documentation accurate and maintaining a clear, accessible knowledge base.
* Monitoring key support metrics and identifying process improvements.
* Managing equipment inventory, procurement, and all aspects of IT onboarding/off-boarding.
* Providing user training and developing helpful resources to strengthen internal capability.
* Collaborating closely with infrastructure and security teams on wider technical initiatives.
* Offering occasional out-of-hours support as part of a shared rota.
Main Skills Needed
* 4+ years’ experience in IT support, including time in a Lead capacity.
* Solid technical knowledge across Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and networking.
* Comfortable troubleshooting issues directly in the command line or PowerShell
* Confident with Intune (or other MDM tools), patching, and scripting.
* Able to write SQL queries and automate repetitive tasks.
* Strong organisational skills — able to manage workloads in a fast-moving environment.
* Excellent communication, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
* Knowledge of IT security, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or ITIL frameworks is a plus.
