Are you a creative, inspiring, and patient Art Teacher with QTS? We are seeking a passionate and innovative Art Teacher (with Qualified Teacher Status) to join a specialist SEN school in Tonbridge. The Role
As the school's Art Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons to secondary-aged students with SEN
* Plan creative projects that build students' confidence and artistic skills
* Adapt teaching methods to meet a wide range of learning needs and communication styles
* Work closely with the SENCO, therapists, and support staff to ensure personalised progress
* Foster a classroom environment that is safe, calm, and encourages self-expression
* Support wider school activities, enrichment programmes, and cross-curricular art projects
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
* Experience teaching Art at KS3/KS4 (SEN experience highly desirable)
* A creative, flexible, and trauma-informed teaching approach
* Strong behaviour-management skills rooted in empathy and positive relationships
* A passion for supporting young people with diverse needs
* Ability to adapt curriculum content to meet individual learner profiles
