Our people make the difference. We’re looking for a proactive Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our Distribution UK & Ireland team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by driving a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance across our sites. What you will do: You’ll work closely with Site Operational Management to deliver effective systems, processes and procedures that protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our people. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with legal, corporate and ISO 45001 requirements, while promoting continuous improvement in safety standards. Your responsibilities will include; Supporting the development and implementation of site-based HSE improvement programmes Collating and reporting hazards, near misses and incidents to support corporate KPIs Leading reviews of risk assessments and safe working procedures Development and delivery of HSE communications such as team briefs, Time Out for Safety sessions, and toolbox talks Supporting audits, inspections and investigations, ensuring findings are effectively managed to completion Coaching and mentoring management teams to strengthen HSE capability Contributing to the delivery of the annual Health, Safety, Environment and Wellbeing plan What you will need: We’re looking for someone who’s not just qualified on paper, but passionate about making a difference. You’ll be confident in your approach, able to engage with people at all levels, and skilled at turning safety from a box-ticking exercise into a shared responsibility across the site. You’ll ideally bring: Relevant qualifications – IOSH Managing Safely (minimum) or NEBOSH General Certificate (preferred) Proven H&S expertise – a strong understanding of health and safety processes and legislation in a manufacturing or industrial setting Experience with safety management systems – particularly ISO 45001 or similar structured systems Strong communication skills – able to influence, guide and gain buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders An eye for detail – ensuring high standards, thorough documentation, and continuous improvement in everything you do Ready to make a difference?
