The Role
* Field-based servicing, maintenance, and repair of overhead and gantry cranes
* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on crane systems
* Working with hoists, motors, brakes, controls, inverters, and pendant or radio systems
* Responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance
* Completing service reports and job documentation accurately
* Working at height and in live industrial environments
* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with LOLER, PUWER, and company procedures
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience as a field-based Overhead Crane Engineer or similar lifting equipment role
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills essential
* Good mechanical understanding of crane structures and drive systems
* Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
* Full UK driving licence essential
* IPAF, ECS, or crane-related certifications advantageous but not essential
