Job Description
We're looking for a skilled Database Engineer / DBA with strong experience in PostgreSQL, ideally within AWS-hosted environments. You'll join a high-performing data team supporting critical government projects.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a DBA or Database Engineer working with PostgreSQL
* Comfortable with Postgres in AWS-hosted environments
* Solid understanding of performance tuning, database security, backup and recovery strategies
* Experience with automation/scripting for DB maintenance (e.g., using Python, Bash, or Terraform is a plus)
* Existing SC Clearance
* Willingness to undergo NPPV3 Police Clearance
* Available to work on-site in Farnborough approx. 1 day per week
