1. Position: Vehicle Technician
2. Salary: £32,000 – £40,000
3. Location: Farnham
4. Hours: Monday – Friday Weekends on rotation

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join a friendly, professional and busy automotive service centre.
You will be working in a modern workshop environment, equipped with the latest diagnostic technology, tools and manufacturer-approved processes. This role involves the diagnosis, repair, servicing and MOT testing of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
MOT Tester responsibilities:
6. Carry out diagnostic and investigative work to identify and rectify faults
7. Complete servicing to manufacturer standards
8. Conduct full vehicle inspections to identify non-routine defects
9. Carry out Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHCs) and Video Health Checks
10. Road test vehicles for diagnostic purposes and post-repair checks
11. Liaise closely with Service Advisors, keeping them informed of job progress
12. Discuss technical issues with customers where required
13. Obtain appropriate authorisation prior to completing additional work
14. Maintain a high level of technical knowledge through ongoing training
Skills & experience required:
15. Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
16. Valid MOT Licence
17. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
18. Full UK driving licence
19. Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
20. Professional, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
