Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil within a welcoming mainstream primary school in the BH15 area.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. Working closely with school staff, you will support a pupil with additional needs both academically and socially throughout the school day.
The Role:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
* Assist the pupil in accessing learning activities and participating in classroom routines.
* Support social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Build positive relationships with the pupil, staff, and parents/carers.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to implement support strategies.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs (desirable).
* Is patient, caring, and adaptable.
* Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Has a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing.
* Is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment.
