The Role

The Marketing Director is accountable and responsible for driving Ingentive’s Marketing strategy and building the Ingentive brand. This will be achieved by the creation, implementation and measurement of marketing and PR activities, as well as developing relationships with partners, to achieve market acceptance and use of Ingentive in the channel. The Marketing Director will assist with administering sales practices, tools and policies used by the partners to meet and exceed sales goals. The Marketing Director will provide leadership and support to the sales organisation and is a Subject Matter Expert for Ingentive’s service offerings and will build market data on competitive offerings.

* 10+ years experience with Microsoft and other mid-market ERP’s required
* 8+ years experience partnering with sales and marketing with responsibilities to meet and exceed financial targets for assigned region or channel, contract negotiation and account retention preferred
* Demonstrated business development, consultative selling and negotiation skills with results-orientation to meet and exceed channel financial and customer satisfaction goals
* Knowledge of CRM & ERP systems
* Strong Microsoft and other ERP knowledge
* Understanding of business processes as they relate to ERP functionality and management
* Vertical industry knowledge may be required (e.g., Retail, Manufacturing)
* Ability to balance and ensure goals are in alignment with Partner’s strategic direction
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks
* Self-motivated, accountable approach and a strong sense of teamwork.
* Takes initiative to follow through on requests and commitments
* Exercises strong business judgment
* Recommends actions that are consistent with Ingentive objectives and goals
* Ability to become a trusted advisor and recommend thoughtful solutions to business challenges
* Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
* Ability to manage multiple complex, high visibility or high impact projects simultaneously.
* Ability to create formal networks with key decision makers.
* Ability to listen and understand information and communicate the same.
* Must possess good organisational, presentation and facilitation skills.
* Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Computing or related discipline or equivalent work experience
* Formal sales / marketing training courses e.g. CIM, Miller Heiman or SPIN
* MBA experience preferred


Responsibilities

* Lead, manage and develop existing team of marketers by setting and managing goals and objectives.
* Develop marketing strategies and plans for the development of the business across the strategic Microsoft offering, communicating the offering to the Sales leader and functional team leads as appropriate.
* Driving agreed target of MQL leads into the business
* Managing the reporting of various KPIs into the business
* Liaise with appropriate third parties in delivery of marketing plans and initiatives.
* Development and management of the Ingentive website, social media and PR
* Liaise with the Ingentive leadership to ensure that marketing activities are in-line with selected Microsoft product offering, and Ingentive’s strategy.
* Ensure timely communication both internally and to partners of product enhancements
* Understand competitive offerings and position the Ingentive brand offering to exceed that of competitors
* Maintain relations with Partners by organising and developing specific programmes and arranging attendance at industry specific events
* Management of marketing budget and reporting of marketing activities and ROI
* Channel Partner relationships for all business related issues
* Interactions with partner and channel leadership and for maintaining and growing existing partner relationships.
* Recruiting targeted partners per Market Requirements
* Channel management planning, strategic and operational planning, market development, business planning, and forecasting.
* Create/drive channel messaging at industry events (user groups, associations)
* Promote Ingentive solutions through the channel and generate additional product and services demand through trade shows, webcasts, demos, etc.
* Address large groups through public speaking, presentation development and delivery, etc.
* Participating on sales conference calls, meetings and in RFP execution
* Ensuring influencer channel is educated and aware of Ingentive solutions and Microsoft product functionality and positioning.
* Lead or participate in other projects and duties
* Must be willing and able to travel 20 - 60% of the time
