Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma‑informed way
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Responsibilities
* Provide in‑person, online/remote and hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to children, teenagers and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs
* Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate for your skills, referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* Work as part of a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD. Your role is integral to that mission
