The Head of Enterprise Architecture will be responsible for defining, leading, and governing the enterprise technology landscape. This leader will drive architectural decisions, define design standards, and ensure that technology solutions align with business strategy and transformation goals. You will lead and mentor a team of architects, provide thought leadership, and work closely with stakeholders across IT, business, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Enterprise Architecture function, setting direction and vision for architecture across applications, data, infrastructure, and integration.
Define architectural strategy and roadmap to support business transformation, including CRM platforms (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics).
Make high-impact design and technology decisions in collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.
Govern solution architecture to ensure scalability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Develop and enforce enterprise-wide architecture principles, frameworks, and standards.
Provide technical leadership to guide design decisions, integrations, and platform modernization.
Partner with business leaders, product owners, and program managers to align architecture with business needs.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of architects.
Able to set right set of Center of Excellence and practices to innovate and accelerate
Act as a trusted advisor to the CIO/CTO on enterprise technology direction.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as Head of Architecture / Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect Lead in a complex enterprise environment.
Strong track record of leading architecture for large-scale digital transformations.
Hands-on expertise with CRM platforms (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics) and related ecosystem integrations.
Deep knowledge across application architecture, data architecture, integration, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) .
Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
Experience in utilities, energy, or regulated industries (preferred but not essential).
Familiarity with architectu re frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualification: Must be educated to at least degree level or equivalent for this role.
