Our client is a well-established provider of financial advice, investment platforms, and wealth management solutions, supporting hundreds of thousands of customers across the UK.
As part of this transformation, they are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their Change team on a 5-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a complex financial services environment and contribute to initiatives that span investment management, wealth management, and platform operations.
🔎 The Role
Working closely with project managers and business stakeholders, you will identify and represent business requirements within key change initiatives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of business analysis activities, including requirements elicitation, documentation, process design, and data analysis.
You will also ensure analysis outputs are aligned to programme outcomes and benefits, supporting impact assessments and helping shape early-stage ideas into structured initiatives.
📌 Key Responsibilities
• Elicit, document, and manage detailed business requirements for change initiatives
• Conduct process analysis, design, and documentation, including process flows and swimlane diagrams
• Ensure traceability between requirements, business outcomes, and programme benefits
• Support impact assessments and highlight risks or deviations from business case objectives
• Work across multiple programme workstreams, including investment management, wealth management, and platform teams
• Assist with business cases, operating model development, option papers, and feasibility studies
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced analysts where appropriate
• Contribute to the Business Analyst community of practice to improve ways of working and analysis outputs
đź’Ľ Experience Required
• Experience acting as the sole Business Analyst on a small programme or large cross-business project
• Proven ability to take initial requirements and develop them into detailed delivery plans
• Strong understanding of the settlement lifecycle across asset classes and global market variations
• Experience delivering regulatory change initiatives within wealth or asset management
• Exposure to the US move to T+1 settlement would be advantageous
