Job Title: Complementary Therapy Service Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and organised Complementary Therapy Service Coordinator to develop and manage our therapy program. You will work remotely to coordinate therapy sessions, support therapists, and work closely with clinical teams and service users to ensure our holistic services are accessible and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Coordination:Coordinate and oversee the delivery of complementary therapies including massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and others.Develop, implement, and oversee the complementary therapy program in alignment with organisational values and goalsMonitor service delivery to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Therapist Management:Recruit, onboard, and coordinate a team of qualified complementary therapy practitioners .Facilitate ongoing training, support, and supervision of therapists to ensure high standards of care.
3. Client & Patient Support:Coordinate initial assessments, referrals, and ongoing evaluations of therapy outcomes.
4. Administration & Reporting:Maintain service records, feedback, and outcome data to monitor the impact of therapiesCollect and analyse data to evaluate program impact and inform service improvements.Prepare regular reports for management, funders, and stakeholders as required
5. Quality & Compliance:Ensure that all therapists are appropriately certified, insured, and working within scope of practice.Promote adherence to infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety protocols.
6. Outreach & Development:Raise awareness of complementary therapy services within the organisation and the wider community.Identify opportunities for program growth, partnership development, and funding.
Person Specification:
7. Experience in coordinating health, social care, wellness or complementary therapy services, preferably in a charitable or community setting.
8. Relevant degree or diploma in complementary therapies, healthcare coordination, or related field (preferred)
9. Understanding of the role of complementary therapies in holistic care and palliative environments.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, able to build trusting relationships with volunteers, service users, and healthcare professionals.
11. Good organisational and time management skills.
12. Compassionate, professional person-centered approach.
13. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
14. Proficiency with basic office software and record-keeping systems.
15. Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality within a healthcare and charity environment.
