ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Technical Manager. They are looking for someone who has a solid work background and who has experience working for a Residential Developer. It is essential that you have knowledge of building processes covering, residential projects with ideally traditional build homes. Duties include but not limited to:
1. To manage the design process within a residential development project
2. Monitor and advise on alternative, beneficial design as and where appropriate
3. Liaise and ensure design implementation at contractor level is running smoothly
4. To act as the primary contact for the design teams and production teams
5. To advise on cost effectiveness of alternative methods of construction
6. To co-ordinate the design information supplied to our construction division
7. To manage compliance checks against specification and client requirements
8. To manage design output to agreed programmes
9. To liaise with Local Authorities, Building Control and Planning Departments
REQUIREMENTS
10. Ideally working as a technical manager or senior technical manager
11. Must have worked for a Residential Developer within recent years
12. Must have residential build experience
13. Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty
14. Degree preferred
15. Experience in managing others

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £75k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits including car allowance, bonus and private medical cover.
