What is the role?
To support the Group Head of Partnership Homes and the Head of Partnership Homes South/North in delivering Persimmon Homes' Affordable Homes Proposition. This includes negotiating and securing offers from Registered Providers for the disposal of Affordable Housing under s106 Planning Agreements. You will assist with managing the forward programme of s106 sites to ensure timely delivery of Affordable Home sales and help convert offers into legally binding Development Agreements.
Primary Responsibilities
* Assist in issuing RP tenders to meet deadlines
* Research Local Authority Affordable Housing Policies and provide summaries for negotiations
* Gather information to facilitate contract agreements
* Engage with Local Authorities and Registered Providers to support negotiation and build relationships
* Review site layouts and agreements for compliance and discussion
* Complete internal training programs
* Support leadership in building relationships across Operating Companies
* Travel to meetings with stakeholders as required
What experience do I need?
* Good numeracy skills and relevant qualifications in Business, Accounting, Science, or Mathematics
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Self-motivated with good time management
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to understand architectural drawings and plans
* Experience with architectural plans or related qualifications
* Ability to analyze data and produce summaries and proposals
* Valid driving license and access to a car for travel
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* High integrity and professionalism
