About the Role
At ICIS, we use our deep market knowledge and unrivalled insight to help our clients to interpret complex markets. We support our clients’ long-term investment challenges through our strategic insight across global petrochemical, energy, and fertilizers industries. Under pinned by our robust proprietary data, analytics and on-the-ground expertise.
To accelerate the growth of our consulting business, we are now looking to recruit a Consultant to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the refining and chemical industries with understanding of trends in Energy Transition, Plastic Circularity & Sustainability.
Responsibilities
* Executing and delivering on consulting projects, to meet and exceed profitability targets
* Developing analysis for market, pricing, competitiveness and economic assessments for project feasibility and transaction support
* Preparing clear and well written reports and presentations, and interactions with clients as needed
* Developing and maintaining consulting and analytical models such as global long term pricing
* Maintaining fundamental working knowledge of the ICIS data, analytics and tools
* Supporting business development and proposals, working with senior consultants
Requirements
* Be driven, passionate and motivated, centred on providing value to the client
* Demonstrate knowledge of the oil refining / petrochemical sector and market fundamentals.
* Experience in commercial execution of industry and/or consulting projects
* Display an understanding of trends in Energy Transition (i.e. hydrogen and carriers, renewables, biofuels)
* Have a degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field
* Able to rationalise, solve and communicate answers to complex problems
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
* Able to work independently as well as in teams, is organized and with project management skills
* Able to collaborate, influence and manage to work with other business functions and geographies within a high performance culture
