Apprentice Administrator – Salary: £16,640 + Bonus (up to £500)
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual eager to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. As the Apprentice Administrator you will manage all administration tasks relating to the workshop, technicians, and customers.
Who will you be working for?
* NRG Riverside – UK’s largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, providing specialist vehicles, maintenance packages, and used vehicles for sale.
* Established in 1996, supporting customers to rationalise and decarbonise fleets, reduce Vehicle Off Road (VOR) time and improve efficiency.
What candidate are we looking for?
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise.
* A driven and flexible attitude.
* Interest in the vehicle industry (a plus).
* Experience from a workshop environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Computer literate – proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Car driving licence (preferred but not essential).
Responsibilities
* Actively participate in your qualification and studies.
* Open job cards for scheduled and non‑scheduled work.
* Advise workshop of vehicle arrival, record date/time of arrival and departure.
* Ensure inspection records and legal certification are sent to the customer within 24 hours of completion.
* Input vehicle fleet defects and confirm sign‑off by technician; communicate to the customer.
* Keep the customer fully informed of work in progress and any delays or additional costs.
* Collaborate with workshop departments to maintain timely inspection & defect records and accurate vehicle history records.
* Build all information on completed job cards.
* Record vehicle breakdowns and pass to the appropriate staff member.
* Load parts onto jobs using supplier delivery notes.
