We are looking for a Business & Accounting Sessional Tutor to join our team.
As a Sessional Tutor at the University of Brighton International College (UBIC), You will be responsible for teaching Business and/or Accounting (including Accounting & Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Organisational Behaviour) to students in Foundation Certificate, International Year One and/or Pre-master’s programmes. The normal place of work is at the college in Brighton. All teaching is in-person.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business or Accounting Tutor/Teacher, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with international students, be student focussed, be open to change and development, and be committed to ensuring our students’ success. You will need:
1. Experience of teaching Business and/or Accounting at levels 3 and 4 (a teaching qualification would be an advantage): Accounting & Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour.
2. The ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities that guide and support students to achieve and flourish.
3. The ability to develop and update innovative teaching material that engages all students.
4. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a range of different teams in order to continually improve the student experience.
5. Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
6. A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proven track record of using this to enhance the student experience.
7. Demonstrable experience of using technology to inform teaching practice and a willingness to embrace innovations.
8. A Post Graduate qualification, a strong first degree or relevant professional experience will be considered.
