Your Impact:
Initially supporting implementation of SAP Ariba, as part of the source to award solution, the Project Manager will be responsible for the successful, on time and on cost delivery of the project which they are responsible for.
1. Reports to VCM Programme Manager for direction, escalation and discuss progress of projects
2. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the VCM Product Owner to ensure that deployed solutions are fit for purpose on all sites and for all involved functions.
3. Build relationships and influence internal stakeholders in all Leonardo UK Electronics sites
4. Maintain and update the Business Case through the project lifecycle
5. Manage any external subcontractor(s) that will contribute to the delivered solutions
6. Report project performance in full accordance with the reviews
7. Lead a multi-function Leonardo team to deliver the project goals on time, quality and budget
8. Identify and manage dependencies with other Future Factory Programmes
9. Anticipate and manage risks to the project, respond to project changes and emerging risks, implement risk mitigation strategies where appropriate and ensure the Future Factory Programme Manager is well informed of risk status.
10. Identify key milestones and track progress towards achievement of those milestones and a deliverable solution. Ensure on-time delivery.
11. Via regular engagement with stakeholders and key users, ensure that the developed solution is compliant with business requirements.
12. Work with Senior Change Lead to develop and implement a adoption strategy including a communications plan and any other change initiatives deemed necessary to guarantee the business case is achieved
13. Drive the Transformational Change process necessary to ensure that our people will fully exploit the capabilities provided by the delivered solutions.
14. Ensure benefits and value creation are core to delivery and is articulated and documented.
What you'll bring:
15. Experience in delivering in digital transformation and tools and methodology to a successful launch into the Business.
16. Experience in delivering a Business improvement initiative including the management of external partners
17. Ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the required result
18. Applies professional concepts in innovative and creative ways to convert “Business As Usual” processes into efficient methods of working
19. Wide ranging knowledge and experience across the whole product lifecycle.
20. Able to engage with and influence a wide range of stakeholders at various levels of seniority
21. Knowledgeable in change management and has experience of leading improvement projects which can be successfully adopted.
22. Ability to analyse emergent options to the implementation to maximise returns to the business
23. Experience in either a commercial or procurement environment would be an advantage.
