An established Agricultural business.

The Job Role:
As Crop Manager, you will manage and grow key accounts, develop solutions for company partners, and represent the company as a crop specialist. You will manage and develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers, both domestically and internationally. In this position, you will also work to grow high-value key accounts and identify new opportunities for business development. This role requires a proactive, commercially focused individual who can drive growth, strengthen partnerships, and deliver long term value to the business. It is essential for you to have previous proven experience in sales and key account management, focusing on delivering long-term business growth.

Location: Lincolnshire based with frequent travel across the UK and Internationally.

Salary Package: £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary depending on skills and experience + Company Car.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Needs Analysis and Market Positioning: Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs to drive seed sales and strengthen market position. Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and execute effective marketing plans for parsnips and own bred vegetables

New Product Development and Pipeline Management: Lead development and launch activities for new products, managing the end-to-end product pipeline

Sales Forecasting and Stock Management: Proactively forecast, monitor and manage stock to maximise sales opportunities using product and market insights. Source and procure seed from established suppliers to ensure competitive customer offerings.

Industry Representation and Crop Specialism: Act as the industry recognised specialist for your crop portfolio, representing the company with authority in the market.

Strategic Planning and Financial Target Support: Implement crop strategic plans, supporting the Head of Department in meeting financial targets.

Candidate Requirements:Degree in relevant subject or equivalent by experience - Essential.
Experience working in horticulture/agriculture
Experience in sales/key account management
Strategic approach to achieving sales and market targets
Excellent networking and relationship building skills
Understanding of logistics and supply chain management
Planning, organisational and customer service skills
Happy to travel across the UK and Internationally frequently
Full Clean Driving Licence.
