As Warehouse Manager, you will ensure smooth running of the overall Warehouse operation including management of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control whilst maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will be highly driven to meet your department specific KPIs as well as continually improving and enhancing the current processes. You will work closely with the wider HAURATON teams to ensure that we are providing a market leading level of service to our customers whilst optimising efficiency.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Manager located in Northampton. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for stock control, inventory control, operations management, forklift operation, and inventory management on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete responsibility for the smooth daily running of our UK warehouse facility and associated tasks.
* Communicate, guide and effectively allocate work to permanent and temporary warehouse employees.
* Be responsible for the core warehouse KPIs.
* Working closely with the Logistics Team to ensure prompt and correct order fulfilment including monitoring of min/max stock levels and review to adjust accordingly based upon customer demand.
* Develop effective working processes and health & safety standards, oversee and guide daily warehouse operations, control warehousing costs, and ensure effective inventory management.
* Always ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse and associated areas.
* Maintain optimal relationships with our 3

party logistics providers and conduct regular review meetings to monitor delivery performance
* Supervise periodic inventory counts and make necessary adjustments.
* Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure prompt ordering of required parts and supplies.
* Conduct regular team briefs and provide a monthly operational report to senior management.
Skills/Experience Required
Essential:
* Demonstrated experience of managing and motivating a team within a warehouse environment
* Proficient in office software including Microsoft Excel and related functions
* Strong understanding of business processes and logistics operations
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail, clear thinking, with a strong service orientation and a clear, results-driven goal.
* Proficient in materials handling, including heavy lifting
Desirable:
* Hold a recognised Health & Safety qualification/certification e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH
* Experience of operating an effective warehouse management system
* Experiencing implementing new processes and systems within a warehouse environment
* Current Flexi forklift licence
