Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and overall operational performance for the service, and offer professional leadership to all dieticians.
* Lead the department on professional and clinical governance issues and serve as a source of professional expertise in nutrition and dietetics for the Trust.
* Provide support and clinical supervision to dietitians, dietetic assistants, apprentice dietitians and students; assist the development of others within the department to encourage competent and confident provision of inpatient and outpatient nutrition and dietetic services through in-house training and competency assessment.
