Summary:

Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside York. The modern purpose built hospital has been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has first-class medical facilities including 24 beds, two theatres, a day case unit, a large outpatient department with X-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy, including a small gym area. In 2018, the hospital opened a new outpatient department with 11 consulting rooms, two treatment rooms and x-ray facilities.

Housekeeper

Location: Clifton Park TC, York

Hours: 30 hours per week, Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 07:00 - 13:00

The role:

We currently have a great opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team at Clifton Park Hospital based in York. As the Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the respective department, whilst supporting the wider team members across various departments.

Providing a range of housekeeping duties that will include:

Maintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies. Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment).

Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements. Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for patients & visitors.

This is a challenging but rewarding role and would be ideally suited to a motivated team player. Previous experience in a Housekeeping role is essential and knowledge of COSHH and infection control is also desirable, however training will be provided.
