Joining us as an Operational Support Officer is a great opportunity to become part of our Credit Card team, where you’ll help manage one of the Society’s most critical third-party suppliers responsible for processing for over two million members. You’ll play an important role in ensuring effective operational support, strong governance, and the smooth delivery of services that meet the needs of our customers.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a Senior Financial Analyst and wider stakeholders to support key financial activities, including invoice preparation, spend tracking, and month-end journal accruals. You’ll also help coordinate governance routines by preparing agendas, drafting and reviewing papers, producing accurate meeting minutes, and tracking actions to completion. Your ability to communicate clearly, build strong working relationships, and adapt to changing priorities will be essential to your success.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, confident working on their own initiative, and comfortable engaging with colleagues across the business. If you enjoy building effective networks, have an interest in financial processes, and want to contribute to a well-structured governance framework that meets regulatory expectations, this role offers the chance to make a real impact in a collaborative and supportive environment.
