We have an exciting opportunity in our Kitchen team as a Commis
Chef where you will be supporting the senior chefs in delivering quality dishes
while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards. This is a great
opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills in a
fast-paced hotel environment.
The Role
You will be:
· Preparing ingredients
for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food
· Washing and peeling
fresh fruits and vegetables
· Weighing, measuring
and mixing ingredients
· Preparing and cooking
food accordingly to recipes and quality and presentation standards
· Monitoring food
quality while preparing food
· Setting up and breaking
down workstations
· Maintaining all
Health & Safety and Service Standards
What do you need to
apply?
We are looking for a
Commis Chef who has a genuine passion for food and cooking, along with a strong
interest in developing their culinary skills. You will have a basic
understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment as well as
knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
