Location: Salisbury with cross campus working in Wiltshire
Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum (Academic Grade 4 – 13) (Dependent on skills, qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 52 weeks per year (part time hours considered).

Lecturer in Nursing & Health - The role:

Wiltshire College & University Centre is looking for a dynamic, inspiring Lecturer to join our vibrant team and help nurture the next generation of carers, educators, and health practitioners who are studying on our BTEC and Health T Level courses.
Lecturer in Nursing & Health – Key Responsibilities:
Within this role you will be responsible for:
* delivering outstanding teaching and assessment; ensuring students reach their maximum potential.
* preparing schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans that reflect best practice.
* contributing to the wider enrichment of students including supporting pastoral needs.
* contributing to the quality of provision as measured by retention, attendance, success rates, grades and value added.
* working with various health employers in the local area, and assisting within placement assessment.
Lecturer in Nursing & Health – You:
We are looking for individuals who:
* have a relevant health degree, or equivalent experience in adult nursing, along with previous experience teaching either BTEC, A Level or HE health qualifications, or mentoring/coaching staff.
* are committed to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
* have a strong track record of delivering success for their students.
* hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this.
* are passionate about supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
* With an enthusiastic and engaging approach, you will have the ability to motivate students and support them to achieve their potential.
