Role Overview
Hammersmith & Fulham Council are investing in residents and staff through high-quality Apprenticeships. This 48‑month Building Services Engineering Service and Maintenance Engineer Apprenticeship combines practical work, training and a Level 3 qualification.
Responsibilities
* Support planned maintenance and repairs across Council buildings.
* Monitor electrical, mechanical and control systems for safety and efficiency.
* Operate building and energy management systems to optimise performance.
* Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, contractors and other council teams to deliver excellent service.
Training & Development
Within the role you will join a personal and professional development programme involving varied activities and events throughout your time with the Council. Ongoing support will be provided through your manager and a mentoring programme.
Qualifications & Eligibility
* Residency: Hammersmith & Fulham resident or care leaver aged 16+ who has lived in the UK.
* UK residence: lived in the UK for the past 3 years.
* Non‑qualification: not currently qualified in Building Services Engineering Service and Maintenance Engineer L3 or above.
* Study: not undertaking any other formal study (e.g., college or university).
