Site Supervisor/ Manager (SSSTS) – Manchester
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor (SSSTS qualified) to join our team in Manchester, working on a major residential development within a historic listed building.
Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day site activities and trades on a live construction site
* Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
* Monitor progress against programme and report to the Site/Project Manager
* Maintain accurate site records and carry out inductions, toolbox talks, and site checks
* Liaise with heritage and conservation professionals where required
* Assist with logistics, deliveries, and maintaining safe access routes
Requirements
* Valid SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
* CSCS card (essential)
* First Aid at Work certificate (preferred)
* Proven supervisory experience on residential or refurbishment projects
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Experience working on heritage or listed buildings (highly desirable)
