We are seeking a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Apprentice, offering an opportunity to combine hands-on experience, professional development and the chance to make a lasting impact, whilst gaining a fully funded, recognised qualification.
Your Role
Working alongside experienced HSEQ professionals in a supportive environment, you will start your professional development through a Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician apprenticeship. You will learn how to identify and manage health, safety, environmental and quality risks across our operations, supporting initiatives that promote health, safety and sustainability in the workplace.
You will work in a diverse work environment, where no two days are the same, and where everything you do matters. Your development programme has been designed to build your expertise and confidence, supporting your growth and progression.

Already one of the UKs leading port and logistics companies, we are planning substantial capital investment over the next 5 years to achieve our vision of becoming the UKs leading port operator. We have ambitious plans to grow and transform the supply chain to benefit our customers. Our investments are decarbonising our operations, which in turn is helping us work towards our goal of achieving Net Zero Port Operations by 2040. Much of our success depends on our unrivalled facilities and technology. But in our sector, it comes down to having the right talent to enable our organisation to grow.
What you'll bring
You Will
* Have or be expected to achieve, a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9 to 5/A* to C (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science;
* Demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent IT skills with the ability to confidently use MS Office tools;
* Have strong verbal and written communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective team working, as well as being self-motivated to work independently;
* Be organised and able to schedule your time effectively to ensure you can complete your academic studies alongside your job, demonstrating a commitment to your own personal development.
