Responsibilities
* Being the Teams key point of contact and ensuring the security team strives for and exceeds expectations on service excellence through first class management, leadership, customer focus and measured feedback, training and development
* Build and lead effective teams; promote a professional working culture between employees, contractors and clients, sharing best practice
* Drive for results by ensuring Mitie reacts efficiently and effectively in line with SLA and KPI's
* Lead the security team including security officers, front of house operatives and subcontractors in delivery of the above; drive a culture of high quality customer excellence; lead by example; be smart and professional in appearance and manner; maintain client focus and resolve client problems with Mitie solutions; think tactically and strategically about service delivery; promote a \\"fix it first time\\" culture; embrace new systems and processes as an ambassador to your team
* Make decisions to ensure adherence to the Company Health & Safety policy and contribute to the development of the Mitie-client offering
* Promote Mitie service lines to deliver sustainable excellence and maximum efficiency; hold regular team meetings; ensure Mitie Induction for all team members
* Work with HR to address employee issues in accordance with policy; liaise with Line manager for support
* Attend internal and external meetings as required; create a professional culture among employees, contractors and clients; coach and develop the team; participate in client review meetings as necessary
* Comply with all Mitie policies, procedures and Health & Safety policies; undertake additional duties as required
* Support managers with HR issues in accordance with Mitie policy and procedures
Qualifications
* Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and safe systems of work
* Able to represent Mitie effectively at internal and external meetings
* Leads by example; strong leadership and management skills
* Good communication and excellent customer focus
Health and Safety
* Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times
* Report deficiencies in systems or equipment that may affect service delivery, health and safety or the environment
* Use work equipment and PPE properly; report issues or training needs to Line manager
Information Security
* Ensure compliance with Mitie information security procedures; identify and report security risks; report actual and suspected security incidents
