Core Duties
We are looking for an engineer to support product design and systems engineering activities for new and legacy products, including requirements management and the preparation of engineering deliverables and technical reports. The role involves product design evaluation and down selection using tools such as Pugh Matrices, Fault Tree Analysis and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), as well as supporting the manufacture, test and evaluation of munitions products. You will conduct and manage trials safely from planning to data presentation, develop and use safe systems of work, manage internal and external stakeholders, liaise with customers, and work as part of an integrated project team.
Essential Skills
* Degree qualification or equivalent in an engineering discipline
* Experience of mechanical systems design and integration
* Proven ability to produce high quality engineering deliverables and technical reports to time and cost
* Experience of requirements management across engineering projects
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and models
* Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and considerable IT skills
