Salary The salary range is £16184 - £16441 per per annum
Weekly Hours: 27.50 hours per week - Working Hours: 7.30am – 1.00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time - additional hours can be worked during our holiday club, as agreed)
Chaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary School is a 1 form entry primary school located in the semi-rural village of Chaddesley Corbett. With large outdoor grounds, our school provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for our pupils to thrive.

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Early Years Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 qualification to support our provision for 2 and 3-year-olds during breakfast club and nursery sessions. This role is vital to ensuring our wraparound care meets the Early Years Statutory Framework and provides a warm, nurturing start to each child's day.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care for 2 and 3-year-olds during breakfast club (7.30–9.00am)
Support learning through play and planned activities within the nursery for 2 and 3 year olds (9.00–13.00)
Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met
Work as part of a dedicated early years team under the guidance of a Level 3 practitioner
Communicate effectively with parents and carers during handover
Requirements:
Level 2 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (must be full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education as stated in the DFE document ‘UK qualifications that meet the Department for Education (DfE) criteria for counting in the early years foundation stage statutory framework staff: child ratios.’
Experience working with children aged 2-3 years
Strong understanding of the Early Years Statutory Framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Enthusiasm for early years education and a passion for supporting young children's development
Creativity in planning and delivering engaging learning activities
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
Willingness to participate in continuous professional development
