Projects are varied and may include commercial refurbishments, education schemes, healthcare projects, office fit-outs, public sector upgrades and general building refurbishment works. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully whilst maintaining robust commercial control throughout. Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of refurbishment projects Procurement and management of subcontract packages Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control Valuation and payment of subcontractor accounts Management of variations and change control Preparation and agreement of final accounts Identification and management of commercial risks Liaison with clients, consultants and operational teams Supporting successful project delivery from inception to completion Monitoring project performance against budget and programme Producing accurate monthly commercial reports Requirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry Experience working on refurbishment, fit-out or general contracting projects Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge Experience managing subcontract procurement and accounts Ability to manage projects independently Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proactive and organised approach to project delivery Full UK driving licence Why Apply?
