As an Inventory Coordinator, you will manage and monitor inventory to ensure efficient ordering, receiving, storing, and tracking, avoiding stockouts or overstocking. You will collaborate closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to maintain accurate records, create orders, and manage shipments, ensuring optimal stock levels.
This role involves working across multiple departments such as purchasing, sales, and logistics across various locations and warehouses. It is ideal if you enjoy coordinating efforts among diverse teams and managing the challenges of perishable goods.
Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive inventory checks regularly according to departmental and company procedures.
* Oversee inventory audits and maintain reports of purchases and pricing.
* Ensure all inventory-related documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
* Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes.
* Utilize various technologies and software for inventory management.
* Maintain optimal stock levels of quality products at all times.
* Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
* Accurately update our CMMS system, O/Cloud, and report details such as vendor information, invoices, and pricing into internal databases.
* Place orders to replenish stock as needed.
* Proven experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager, or similar role.
* Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
* Working knowledge of management software.
* Proficiency in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
Job Requirements:
* Experience in FMCG sector.
* Previous experience with lean manufacturing and CI tools and techniques.
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
