About the Role Connex Education is working with a number of primary schools across Burton upon Trent and the wider DE13 and DE14 areas who are looking to recruit Supply Teaching Assistants to support on a flexible basis. There is currently consistent demand across local schools, with opportunities available immediately and continuing throughout the summer term. You will be supporting across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, helping pupils stay engaged, build confidence, and access learning within a supportive classroom environment. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups • Assisting the class teacher with lesson activities and classroom routines • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement within lessons • Helping pupils remain focused and involved throughout the school day This role is well suited to those looking for flexible local work, whether you are experienced within schools or looking to build further classroom experience.
