A role with variety and responsibility no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, installations, and inspections across the venue. Deliver temporary power, AV systems, and support for live events and functions. Support and supervise facilities operatives, contractors, and apprentices. Complete a range of multi-skilled maintenance tasks, including plumbing, mechanical, and general building works. Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements. Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and event shifts. Use digital tools and the Building Management System (BMS) to log, monitor, and report maintenance activity. Candidate Requirements Fully qualified Electrician NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds equivalent, 18th Edition (essential). Proven experience in a multi-discipline maintenance or facilities role. Knowledge of temporary power systems, electrical installations, and AV systems for live events. Strong understanding of Health & Safety, including risk assessments (RAs) and safe working procedures (SWPs). Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach. Additional certifications such as IPAF, ECS Card, or mechanical/FMs skills are advantageous. Physically fit and ready for a hands-on facilities maintenance role in a live events environment.
