At West Northamptonshire Council, we’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Procurement Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver high quality, value for money services. This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward‑thinking central procurement and finance team, where you’ll provide expert strategic advice and deliver end‑to‑end procurement services that directly support our ambitious corporate plan and strategic objectives.

* Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and supporting major programmes across Council services.
* Shape and deliver a complex and varied procurement pipeline, balancing strategic priorities with operational delivery, supporting the Council to deliver its strategic objectives.
* Focus on ensuring robust governance, compliance, and risk management incorporating the latest changes in policy and legislation.
* Drive process development, including opportunities to innovate and add value.
* Champion our business partner model, raising the profile of procurement and ensuring best practice is consistently applied across the organisation.

In return, you’ll join a collaborative and supportive environment, where you’ll have the autonomy to shape the way we work, the visibility to influence at the highest levels, and the support to continue developing your career.

If this sounds like the right next step for you, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
