Are you passionate about transforming the lives of pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs? St John’s Middle School is seeking a committed and resilient Alternative Provision Base Lead to establish and lead our new internal provision for pupils requiring behavioural and emotional support. This is a rare opportunity to build a provision from the ground up, shaping its vision, systems, and curriculum to meet the needs of vulnerable learners. What you’ll do: Lead and manage a specialist SEMH provision Deliver bespoke learning for small groups and individuals Support pupils’ emotional regulation and behaviour recovery Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies Reintegration planning into mainstream classrooms We’re looking for someone who: Has experience in SEMH or alternative provision Is calm, resilient, and highly relational Can design and adapt personalised learning approaches Has strong behaviour management expertise Is passionate about inclusion and pupil success Safeguarding Commitment The Trust is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and to the promotion of fundamental British values.
